First of all about the pet upgrades, I know it's been said they work outside the arena. I'd like to add though that eventually I've seen it posted that they will work in the arena also, I just think it isn't a big priority. So probably next time there is an expansion of pets.
Which brings me to my second things. I've also seen posted that there are plans to expand pets more. But once again it's not a short term priority. I expect we will see fishing, expanded challenges, and global beasts coming out first maybe also an expansion of content for high level inferno players. You have to remember that even the best F2P probably doesn't have robobess unless they played before it came out on Kongregate or sunk all their AP into arena.
Short term I haven't seen Ray discussing expanding pets though, but I'm pretty sure long term it's coming. I'd expect we see pets expanded mid or late 2016. Maybe spring at the earliest. Then again I could always be wrong. Until then arena will probably stay at 30 levels, it wouldn't be too surprising if it wasn't boosted to 40 early next year since it's already programmed though.
