Great treasures to be had

Anyway, original question still stands. What determines the number of coins dropped by a treasure? And how does huge loots play into that?

Ah. thanks I'll update the wiki, half the info there is wrong already. Value of coins is as stated in my original post, but still no answer as to the number of coins dropped though.

So this upgrade work?

It appears to work. We've seen improved number of coins dropped that seems to correlate to increased "huge loots" levels.

We don't however know the extent to which it works

So far it looks like this:

Coin drop: (treasure type base coin number + Coin Count bonus)(Triple Loot bonus)

Code:
(base+[0 to 5])*([3,1])

Bag: 6
Chest: 11
Bowl: 25
Epic*: 49

ex. Bag with L5 CC and 3x bonus = (6+5)*3 = 33
ex. Bowl with L2 CC without 3x bonus = (25+2)*1 = 27

Somewhere along the formula Bowls can gain up to +1 extra coins (25~31 range), and Epics* pick up +2 (49~56 range). How this extra 1 and 2 coins occurs is this is the next stage to be investigated.

Thanks to lithe333 and Phayte for data.

*Epic treasure data was provided solely by lithe333.

An easier way to look at it for the less formula-obsessed.

Observed range (before 3x bonus activation):

Bag: 6-11
Chest: 11-16
Bowl: 25-31
Epic: 49-56

Any confirmed drops outside of these ranges?

Thanks Analog. Going from those number then it almost would appear that "Huge Loots" doesn't do anything. At level 100 (cap) it maxes at +90%. Clearly it doesn't change the amount per coin, but it almost appears to not affect the amount of coins either

I knew it lol. Well hopefully, it gets solved.

It's probably supposed to affect amount per coin. It absolutely doesn't affect the number of coins.

Unless it affects the chance to reach your max coins (i.e. up to +5 from Coin Count), or if it is the variable accounting for that "extra" +1 and +2 coins on bowl and epic treasures respectively, it is not functioning at all.
