Double card bonus + Double card for 250 diamonds issue

Hello,

Someone in chat mentioned that you will receive 4 cards if you buy double card drop for 7 days.

i.e. bonuses stacked

I purchased double card for 250 diamonds but got 4 card drops only one day.  On next day drop became 2 cards only

The diamonds increase the number of cards you receive with the drop, not the frequency of the drop. So the chance of card dropping does not change, but when they do drop, you will receive 2x the amount of cards you normally would have.

So for example, I am currently recieving 8 cards per card drop at the moment:
a. Inferno 1 (1+1) 2
b. 250 Diamonds for 2x card drop (2*2) 4
c. Double card drops bonus (4*2) 8

So you can see the bonuses do stack, but it's not for twice the chance of receiving cards, but for twice the cards (amount) when they do drop.

Exactly. I supposed to receive 4 cards per one drop for 7 days but 4 cards had drop only 1 day

Actually now that you mention it, I watched more closely, and either I'm mistaken in my understanding of this, or you're right, and mine isn't working consistently EITHER.

Just got 4 cards, even though as I screenshotted above, I got 8 under same conditions (inferno 1, diamonds cards & the 2x bonus event).

Your numbers seem right Janus, you have a chance to drop (1 or 2) *2 *2 = 4 or 8 cards.

Thanks yep I just asked in chat, and it seems I did not understand the inferno level part of my numbers. I thought it was always 1+inferno level cards to start, but it seems I was mistaken.

There is no problem with my diamonds like the OP is describing. Sorry for the mixup and thank you for the explanation!

See if a new party and relog will update your card count. (I don't know if it will do anything at all, but I'm curious if it's dropping but not displaying.)

Also, depending which ascension you are on, the chance to receive a card drop varies from 1/500 to 1/2500. On a lower ascension, perhaps hunting the highest zones possible, it isn't uncommon to have only a drop or two all day.

Thanks for clarifying.

I'd still recommend leaving your party if it is old, it can cause some odd values to be displayed (even if the server is saving the correct data).

This image shows no card boost is active. What date did you purchase the card boost?
