possible card collection glitch

Im in area 1-6, ascension 1, my friend who is always in my party is in the same area, we both started at 0 collected, and I have the double card drop ability on, so 88 to 49 seemed logical, and then I refreshed, and the 88 appeared to be a graphical error, either that or there is a bug that causes people to lose cards from their collection somehow.
