Yes, and the 3rd ascension will likely be the final ascension, unlocking the 10th planet along with an alternate universe; a far more difficult end-game mode with 100 tiers of difficulty.

Ascending
Upon reaching level 40 and completing the 5th planet, you have the option to ascend.

Ascending will not reset ANYTHING, however it will bring you back to the first planet, where creatures will start at level 66 level 48. Make sure you are able to comfortably solo a level 66 level 48 creature before ascending!

Ascension Points
You earn a static amount of ascension points when you ascend. 

1st Ascension: 10 Ascension Points
2nd Ascension: 15 Ascension Points
* New ways to earn ascension points will be added in the distant future, but not any time soon.

While there are plenty of options, you do NOT get a lot of ascension points. Spend them wisely.]]>
