Returning player, info on changes?

Hey, after about I don't even know, tons of months, I decided I want to get back into this game. I know lots has changed, as I looked at the upgrades and do not remember ascension upgrades being set up like that, and I got something which looks like cards while offline?
Can anyone tell me the major changes through the past 6 months or so?

EDIT: I'm level 479 right now, so I got some decent progression until I left
