splat damage totals
#11
Are splat damages off of your auto or click damage? Or whichever is higher?

It's based off an average. But the math is a little weird at first. The challenge Damage % increase isnt counted until later in the calc I believe

splat damage = (((additional dmg chalenge + lvl modif)*(1 + % chalenge base/100)+ upgrades dmg click)*(1+%ascension dmg click)*(1+damage boost abilities/100)+((additional dmg chalenge + lvl modif)*(1 + % chalenge base/100)+ upgrades dmg auto)*(1+%ascension dmg auto)*(1+damage boost abilities/100))/2*%splat abilities/100

my example
splat damage=(((77+182)*(1+25/100)+473)*(1+0/100)*(1+115/100)+((77+182)*(1+25/100)+396)*(1+5/100)*(1+115/100))/2*435/100=7259

Might be worth noting that the damage boost ability seems bugged at the moment. I've got 117%, but it seems considerably lower. or at least not at the end of the calc. It appears that it is adding to ascension damage%

splat damage = (((81+258)*(1+25/100)+ 248)*(1+10/100)*(1+117/100)+((81+258)*(1+25/100)+ 415)*(1+10/100)*(1+117/100))/2*720/100 = 12980.0286
whereas

Splat Damage=(((81+258)*(1+25/100)+415)*(1+(117+10)/100)+((81+258)*(1+25/100)+248)*(1+(117+10)/100))/2*720/100 = 12343.806

I currently do 12348, so theres still something not quite right

258 - is not lvl. modificator. What is your level?

your formula is correct. thx
Splat Damage = ROUNDUP((ROUNDUP(additional dmg chalenge + lvl modif)*(1 + % chalenge base/100)+ upgrades dmg click)*(1+(%ascension dmg click+damage boost abilities)/100))+ROUNDUP((additional dmg chalenge + lvl modif)*(1 + % chalenge base/100)+ upgrades dmg auto)*(1+(%ascension dmg auto+damage boost abilities)/100)))/2*%splat abilities/100
Use dmg boost:
Splat Damage=ROUNDUP(((ROUNDUP(((77+186)*(1+25/100)+473)*(1+(0+115)/100);0)+ROUNDUP(((77+186)*(1+25/100)+396)*(1+(5+115)/100);0))/2*445/100);0)=7385

No use dmg boost:
Splat Damage=ROUNDUP(((ROUNDUP(((77+186)*(1+25/100)+473)*(1+(0+0)/100);0)+ROUNDUP(((77+186)*(1+25/100)+396)*(1+(5+0)/100);0))/2*445/100);0)=3478

It is strange that % chalenge base combines add. dmg chalenge and lvl modif and no combines upgrades dmg. %ascension dmg click stacks damage boost abilities. %idle auto increases multiplicatively all previous modifiers. Is this correct, Ray?

You use a "Level modifier" I calculate for each level (level-1)+(level-25), etc. I was level 101 when i posted that. level 102 now. Its worth noting that there is not an additional +1 per level over 100 yet though

101 => Level-1+Level-25+Level-50+Level-75 + 5 = 4*Level - 146 = 258 (There is a base +5 damage as well)

As for the various % multipliers. With the next update, Challenge is going to switch to a static number anyway. So I wouldn't worry too much about it

Which is better a % or a static number? I always thought a % would be better as it could increase as the base went up. With a static number though, it's set as is. Unless the static number was very high, or something along those lines, I don't understand the point in the change. Can someone explain to me how it's better.

A % would be better in the long run, but if the static number is high enough it could be better than % for now and he may have changed it for some balance with the new bonus from event points or idk...
