High or low level farming - pauldpaul - 02-25-2015 Hi, I have been trying to figure out if it is better to gain exp by farming lower level mobs I can kill quickly or higher level mobs that take longer but offer greater exp. I done a very quick and unscientific test where I left it for 10 minutes, first time against a level 14 which I can one hit then against level 59 which took longer level 14 resulted in a 1.55% experience increase level 59 resulted in a 2.54% experience increase I'm sure that experiment is flawed though so can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks RE: High or low level farming - WhiteK - 02-25-2015 for my experience if u solo do 4 - 5-hits mob then u can afk and still able to do chest but if u only focus on exp then do 2 hits-ko mob best exp outcome RE: High or low level farming - Ray - 02-25-2015 Keep in mind creatures of every 25 levels have a higher (exponential) rate of experience given as well. If you are idling at a 49...switch to a 50+ creature for an added bonus RE: High or low level farming - pauldpaul - 02-25-2015 Thank you both So ideally we want to be idling at the highest level where we can kill the monster in a few hits however aim to always be above each 25 level increment if that makes sense.... so for example if you idling at 24 and doing 2-3 hit KO's it will probably be worth moving to level 26 despite it taking say 4-5 hit KO RE: High or low level farming - Solar - 02-25-2015 In my opinion idling on the highest level monster that you can one shot is best. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I'm pretty sure this is how it works. Monsters have a 1.5 second spawn timer after they've died. I'm currently idling on the second planet, zone four. (P2 Z4) In P2 Z4 the monster has 185 hp, it takes my auto click 0.4 seconds to respond ( attack the monster ) after it has spawned, in which it dies instantly. Total time for 1 kill = 1.9 seconds Total gold for 1 kill = 65 - 240 ( I have 4 coins drop ) We'll calculate it based off dropping one coin every time, just for an example and to make it easier. 50 kills = 95 seconds ( 1 minute 35 seconds ) 50 kills = 3,250g in 1 minute and 35 seconds. Moving onto some stronger mobs, I 2-3 shot the monsters on planet three, zone 6. (P3 Z6) 6.83s 8.72s 10.69s These are some of the remaining times left on the mob, starting from 13 seconds. 6.77s 8.74s 8.73s The overall average of those numbers is roughly 7.86 seconds. 8.73s 6.79s 6.79s 8.74s 8.72s 8.72s 8.74s 6.77s 6.81s 8.73s 8.72s 8.73s 8.73s 10.66s So, in P3 Z6 they have 625 HP, on average it takes 5.14 seconds to kill the monster. ( 13 - 7.86 ) Time for one kill = 6.64 seconds. Total gold for one kill = 153 - 612 Once again, we'll calculate 50 kills off of 1 coin dropping each time. 50 kills = 332 seconds ( 5 minutes and 32 seconds ) 50 kills = 7,650g in 5 minutes and 32 seconds. Results? ===P2 Z4=== ===P3 Z6=== 50 kills = 95 seconds ( 1 minute 35 seconds ) 50 kills = 332 seconds ( 5 minutes and 32 seconds ) 50 kills = 3,250g in 1 minute and 35 seconds. 50 kills = 7,650g in 5 minutes and 32 seconds. X3 150 kills = 285 seconds ( 4 minutes 45 seconds ) So you make more gold in less time idling in a zone you can one shot. 150 kills = 9,750g in 4 minutes and 45 seconds. As for the experience the previous math more or less rolls over to show the exact same results. In P2 Z4 I get 207 exp per kill. ( 1.9 seconds) X50 = 10,350 exp per 50 kills, in 1 minute 35 seconds. X3 150 kills = 31,050 exp in 4 minutes and 45 seconds. In P3 Z6 I get 579 exp per kill. ( 6.64 seconds ) X50 = 28,950 exp per 50 kills, in 5 minutes and 32 seconds. Keep in mind I do have 51% Gold increase 8.25% HP Reduction 185 Auto damage However, I don't think it would mess up the math. RE: High or low level farming - master - 02-25-2015 I did a little test giving each of the three areas I tested 5 minutes of idle. I selected each area based off of the 25+ level bonus given for each area. I did not track gold drops.... My results: lv 26 mobs = 43,300 total exp. gain lv 51 mobs = 50,456 total exp. gain lv 69 mobs = 46,640 total exp. gain Level 26 mods I can easily one hit, level 51 takes about three hits and level 69 takes about ten. Happy Hunting!! Master RE: High or low level farming - Skream - 03-01-2015 It is better to kill higher level monsters, your critical and double attacks have no use on earlier enemies if you kill them in 1 hit. you can do about 15-25% more damage if you attack for longer periods of time instead of 1 hit per enemy. If you are fighting higher level enemies, do it in increments of 25 and to where you can receive trophy rewards for kills. highest level possible without manual clicking necessary. You want the timer to be at least 3+ seconds remaining when he is dead or sometimes you might not finish him off if you have bad luck on that round with crits and double attacks. RE: High or low level farming - CRIMSONKING - 03-02-2015 Lvl 51 I got 128,000Xp in 5 minutes with the event going on and 116,000 gold. Lvl 76 I got 156,000 Xp in 5 minutes and 127,000 gold. Lvl 101 I got 158,000 Xp in 5 minutes and 100,000 gold. Gold is not very accurate since different amounts of coins can drop but then again so can the damage output lol. I usually just train on lvl 51 but might go to lvl 76 now.
