Latest version (will probably be my last)

(v5)

Coming ... in a while Confused
(mathing guild stuff... might take a while longer xD)
- includes better treasure upgrade maths
- option to vary party upgrades (scale upgrades that depend on parties, 1.4, 2, 3, 4, etc)
- pet arena and pet upgrades
- more math to include higher upgrade levels (still trying to collect data on lvl 100+ upgrades)
- dps calculations
- abilities calculations
- ascension points stuff
- zone and challenge suggestions
- effect of partying (and if they also you, calculator, allows for accurate analysis)
- option to customize and vary emphasis on xp, gold, card and treasure loot
- probably overkill and after this i will just stop updating it xD
(ps a lot of stuff most of you can avoid if you want.. i will colour code it.
I'm just tired of always doing things in my head so I'll add options for me
and if you want to try use it.. go for it... if not, I will leave a tab for default and you can copy the old formulas back in.)

Older stuff

slightly modified version of my upgrade calculator for estimates of which upgrade to do next
it assumes you are in party.. (and adjust maths accordingly.. to some extent)
it does not include click/clix upgrades... since it makes it messier..
(nor does it include my other calculators like abilities, asc skills, wood, mining, expeditions, etc Tongue)

(I think) there are 4 upgrades which affect party so after lvl 25, I suggest if you have a permanent party partner,
to specialise in two of the 4 upgrades
- time extend
- hp reduction
- treasure hunter
- easy loot

if you wish to delete or ignore an upgrade... either increase their price, delete their efficiency boxes or hmm.

crit % = crit chance
crit dmg = crit multiplier

and yes I did not include challenge point or level since I found a way to math without it
(and that way I remove huge source of human error), yay me Smile
BUT make sure you add in the idle+10% dmg Angry

= = =

second file (v2) is updated to account for the new event bonuses (EP)
note, it still calculates dmg correctly, but new challenge bonus gives much more dmg (CP)
hence upgrades will be less effective

= = =

third file (v3) is updated to allow for gold prices to be calculated from current upgrade level ...
(just gold not AP or the upgrade values)

= = =

fourth file (v4)
moved notes to the top
fixed damage calculation (event and asc. buffs are added not multiplied)
fixed triple loot calculation (way under leveled)
made everything automatic, far less input (dmg, buffs and upgrade levels)
but I took a shortcut, so file size is huge in comparison (12 kB -> 62kB)

(v4b)
exactly the same as 4 but only recently noticed that v4 is no longer compatible with google spreadsheets
so changed the formula/functions so now it should work
to upload you need gmail then..

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/
go into a spread sheet
file -> import -> upload -> create new spreadsheet
thank you
Calculator increase updates for the greatest damage.

why not just use my calculator and ignore the gold/treasure upgrades?

(ps.. -hp% should still be upgraded since it is still increases dps... kinda, but time extend should not)
I greatly appreciate receiving maximum damage over time. -hp does not matter in this case, as we appreciate receiving continuous damage over a specified period of time, for example, can be estimated as the average damage you can inflict boss in the Challenge and on this basis to conclude, if you can beat this boss.
1. In your calculator is not used for hand-click and auto-clicks.
2. Do not use abilities
3. False calculated damage
I gotta side with Lithe on this one. you still want that HP reduction. it can be considered DPS based off how much of their health it reduces divided by the time it takes to kill the guy. it makes kills faster = increases dps
Inregorn,

for calculating the time of the battle, how do i do this, since each battle lasts a different time?

yeah.. I know, I left all that out because it makes it complicated
the one i use has everything. Confused

but the point is generally to compare which upgrade is the best.. and
since most of the game is idle/farming. this is the easiest way to do it.

you can easily modify this to use it for clicking upgrades..
(just enter the numbers of clicking and it should still work)

abilities are simple enough as well... for ascesion and skill and etc..
you dont need to combine them since you can do separate calculations and it all scales down to base idle/click dmg/spd.

and... no, my calculated dmg is correct, since I ask you to enter what you get at 10% idle.
you can alter my caculator to remove the "x1.1" and it would still work with normal idle...
(the point isn't the dmg but the increment to dmg given up base dmg upgrade. Confused)

everything scales.. so anything that scales like asc skill and abilities.. don't affect dps..
as long as you choose the ideal skills.
lvl 10 atk/spd
lvl 10 splat
lvl 25 atk/spd
lvl 25 splat
lvl 10 crit chance/multiplier
and.. the rest should be atk/spd.. i think..
but I haven't done the maths for the last bit to be sure

for normal adventures..
mobs = 10 + time extend
bosses = (10 + time extend) *2.4

if you compare this to hp...
mobs = lvl * lvl + 5
bosses = (lvl * lvl + 5) * 4
(treasures count as bosses)

so if you math all that together, to be able to idle bosses/treasures
you need to be able to idle a normal mob.. in less than 60% time (EVERY TIME)
i.e. as long as your time never goes below 40% of starting time.. you are set for idling treasures
would hp reduction be more effective the higher level we are facing?
what is the best software to view these files?
