With the new addition of Series Challenge and the current way it works, without Time Extend the current trophy upgrades for abilities do nothing to help.
I suggest four new trophies for:

• Speed Boost
• Crit Chance Boost
• Damage Boost
• Crit Boost
  

The new trophy upgrades well make the active part of the abilities last longer, using your current trophy upgrade system lvl 1 = 2%, etc... so at lvl 1 the abilities well be active for 10.2 sec not 10, etc...

The reason why I did not suggest anything thing for splat and time freeze should be obvious; for those people who need to understand it is because the only realistic trophy upgrades have already been made for them, if you want time freeze to last longer or splat to do more damage change your ability points around.

Your math is off. 2% of 10 seconds is .2 seconds. Thus at level 1, the abilities would be active for 10.2 seconds.
