I hope there is no max level. but yeah, if there is it would be a no brainer.
The cards up to 50 are about 4x more valuable than the cards from 250-500... really almost 4.5x... thus killing them 4x slower would balance out.. but probably not be worth the gold/xp loss. it's about 7X difference from 500-1000 though... THAT seems like it might be worth it.
