I'm kinda sad now I used probably 3 or 4 levels of AP on trying to level them up. I'm at 51 for speed... and I can't see getting more than 1 level a week if I want to continue to bring in enough diamond to keep the double card drops... maybe when I get my third ship. ---- Just a quick update on my original post... working my way through lvl 222... at 60%, I've managed, you guessed it, 6 autodam levels. I did spend about 1 level worth on crit chance (my math came out that such was worthwhile), so I probably could have 7. But clearly, that's not catching up, but just barely keeping pace. I see you guys were right... got 300 just after leveling, so while with luck and focus I could perhaps gain a level or two, there's no chance of gaining 130 levels without spending real money... and the rate is dropping slightly, as people suggested.
